CAYENNNE

(WRADAR X WYALEA)
Flaxen Liver Chestnut Mare, May 3, 2007

CAYENNNE is the image of her big and impressive dam, WYALEA.  CAYENNNE is like her mother, everything is big.  Big body, big eyes, big trot that says “Look at me”.  Her balanced body and strong sound legs put the foundation under CAYENNNE’s abilities.  She is built to go the distance.

CAYENNNE is a horse of many talents.  Her excellent balance, cadence and big trot would indicate a strong career in dressage.  At a recent (March 2011) Dressage Clinic with Sandra Chohaney  (one of the Dressage Judges at Sport Horse Nationals 2010).  Sandy Chohaney said “This mare has all three gaits and can definitely go to Grand Prix.”

During the summer of 2011, CAYENNNE had several successful Dressage shows in Training and First Level, now schooling Second Level, ridden by Rita Mason.  At the CDS Championship Show in October 2011, CAYENNNE and Rita were Reserve Champion in the 4 year old Futurity against all breeds.

CAYENNNE is a brave and careful girl in the free jump arena.  She has beautiful Hunter form, with knees tucked well up, and so would also make a beautiful Working Hunter.  She shows scope over fences for the Jumper classes.

CAYENNNE can be a strong contender for top honors in Sport Horse under saddle, Sport Horse Show Hack, and Sport Horse in-hand, as well as Dressage, Hunters and Jumpers.

CAYENNNE’s first horse show was a big one, the Arabian Sport Horse Nationals in Lexington, Kentucky 2009. CAYENNNE was US National Top 10 Two Year Old Mares, Jackpot Futurity. CAYENNNE traveled very well on the three day trip to Kentucky, settled well on the show grounds, and was calm but alert in the show ring.  After her class, CAYENNNE returned to the barn and took a nap.  She seems to enjoy the life of a show horse.

CAYENNNE would also make a stellar broodmare, She has carried on the heritage of a beautiful big body (lots of heart and lung room), impulsion and a big cadenced trot from her dam WYALEA, grandsire UA LEGACY, granddam *JORDAANA SSB, great granddam *EFIGIE, great grandsire *FIGUROSO, and great great grandsire MARMOL.

Important horses in CAYENNNE’s pedigree, in alphabetical order:

CANTINERA II (MALVITO X URAL BY MAQUILLO) 1961 YM Bay Mare, known at the Military Stud as the ‘Queen of Spain’.  Dam of  YM stallions SABLE. PALMA REAL, UVAL (X GARBO).  Her last son, and only son to come out of Spain, is *ESPERANTO (X MARMOL).  CANTINERA II produced six daughters to ZANCUDO, one is LAYETANA (granddam of CAYENNNE).  *GHAZEL tail female line.  Molly has written two articles (two decades apart) on the *GHAZEL female line due to its importance.

DIAMANTE (GALERO X SAETA by JACIO), 1982 grey stallion, bred and imported by Stanley Ranch.  Sire of CAYENNNE’s  granddam *JORDAANA.  *DIAMANTE was a producer of Arabian Sport Horses and excellent hunters and jumpers.  *DIAMANTE was named ‘Meritorius Sire’ for three straight years by the Arabian Sport Horse Assn, Inc. due to the show records of *JORDAANA’s sisters *JOYAMIA +// and *JEZABEL SSB +//, both of whom were awarded their Legion of Excellence.  *JORDAANA didn’t like to travel, so was not shown.

*EFIGIE SSB (MARMOL X KADOFA), 1983 Chestnut mare, bred by Stanley Ranch.  This mare was Molly Stanley’s Show Hack and Country Pleasure Mare for a number of successful years.  *EFIGIE won Regional Championships, Reserve Regional Championships, and Top 5 awards in English Show Hack, Country English Pleasure, Arabian Ladies Sidesaddle, English Pleasure, Informal Combination and Pleasure Driving.  Very intelligent with a big heart.

*FIGUROSO (TABAL X BAHIA II), 1966 Grey stallion.  Big bodied and charismatic, *FIGUROSO wowed the crowds with his trot and animation. He had a brilliant career as a Liberty Stallion in spite of his years - he was a mature stallion when imported.  *FIGUROSO will be remembered by many in the Midwest who saw him show.  The big trotting heritage comes strongly to CAYENNNE through *FIGUROSO, his son UA LEGACY (X Champion *EFIGIE) and to her dam WYALEA who inherited it all, and passed it along to CAYENNNE.

GRANADA I, (*PADRE X *KIRAT II) 1985 Grey Mare.  Bred by Stanley Ranch.  GRANADA I strongly resembles her sire *PADRE (bred by Domecq) and grandsire GARBO (YM stallion).  GRANADA I is Class ‘A’ Halter Champion, a Recognized Field Hunter with Los Altos Hounds, dam and granddam of Champions.   GRANADA I is a proven dam of stallions, the true test of a broodmare, with get listed to her sons MADRID PF, MATADOR PF, MAXXUM PF, SI SI SAVVY and WRADAR,   GRANADA I, a true producer in the tradition of the Yeguada Militar of Spain, produced outstanding offspring to several stallions, with nine offspring in total and five sons used as stallions.  GRANADA I had the big heart of her sire *PADRE, and would climb the highest hills on the hunt without hesitation.  A grand mare.

*JORDAANA (*DIAMANTE X LAYETANA by ZANCUDO), 1987 Liver Chestnut Mare. Born at Stanley Ranch Spain, imported in 1989 with *JEZABEL SSB +// and *JOYAMIA +//, her ¾ sisters.  *JORDAANA produced four fillies, and is dam of WYALEA (X UA LEGACY) and granddam of CAYENNNE.  *JORDAANA has a big trot, a deep stride, and fabulous balance.  One of Molly’s favorite riding horses.

*KIRAT II (SALUDO X BIZANCIO II by MALVITO), 1967 Bay Mare, dam of fourteen.  Full sister of Spanish National Supreme Champion stallion MIZAR.  Dam of four full sisters (X *PADRE), including GRANADA I.  *KIRAT II is dam and granddam of Champions in Spain, Europe and the USA.  Big body, big trot, elegant carriage, big eyes, big heart.  Dave’s favorite.

LAYETANA (ZANCUDO X CANTINERA II by MALVITO), 1970 Liver Chestnut YM mare.  Dam of *JORDAANA (X *DIAMANTE).  LAYETANA could have been a top winning show halter mare in the USA, but she was never destined to leave Spain.  An elegant mare with a big trot.  *JORDAANA is a look alike daughter.

MARMOL (TABAL X ESCALA II by MAQUILLO) 1971 Chestnut stallion, Yeguada Militar, used principally by two private breeders, S.A.R Teresa de Borbon, Yeguada Flor de lis and Stanley Ranch.  MARMOL was an honest sixteen hands, and his offspring tended to have fine hair coats, elegant front ends, and a lot of trot.  MARMOL sired some important horses at Flor de lis stud for Princess Teresa, and his offspring helped to make Flor de lis horses score the highest (20 – 20 – 20) marks for movement at the Spanish National Show, several times.  The imported offspring of MARMOL in the USA are *EFIGIE, Show Champion, *ELENA, Recognized Field Hunter, and *ESPERANTO. Show Champion in halter and performance and Sport Horse Sire ahead of his time.

*PADRE (GARBO X YUCA), 1972 Grey Stallion.  *PADRE is Supreme Champion Stallion of Spain and sire, grandsire, great grandsire of Spanish Champion Stallions. Sire of ABUTIG, Supreme Champion Stallion who founded a dynasty at Domecq.  *PADRE is sire of National and Supreme Champions in 4 countries.  *PADRE has one hundred seventeen offspring, who possess Championships, as the Arabians would say, “Like stars in the sky, too numerous to count.”

TABAL (CONGO X HILANDERA) 1952 Grey YM Stallion.  Famous for his production of daughters and also sons that have founded dynasties.  There are entire stud farms in different countries based on the production of one son or daughter of TABAL, as we see with the mares *ESTOPA (USA) and NEVISCA (Spain).  In CAYENNNE’s pedigree, TABAL is seen on both ‘tail male’ lines from her sire and dam as sire of MARMOL and *FIGUROSO.

WRADAR (*ESPERANTO X GRANADA I by *PADRE), 2001 Bay Stallion.  WRADAR has the tail female through GRANADA I and *KIRAT II to MERJANE, 1866 Chestnut mare (DB).  WRADAR was bred by Stanley Ranch and is now herd sire for Southern Wind Arabians of Florida.  Sire of CAYENNNE and BARBARELA.

WYALEA (UA LEGACY X *JORDAANA SSB) 2001 Liver Chestnut Mare.  Big bodied, high trotting, big eyed, kind heart, Look alike dam of CAYENNNE.
