Foaled in 1960 in Spain; bred by the Yeguada Militar Photo circa 1980 at the Stanley stud in Spain The Stanleys owned BETONICA (purchased at a Military auction, along with nine other mares) in her teens. BETONICA's dam SAKLAUIA YADRAN was a gift, in 1946, from King Abdullah to General Franco. SAKLAUIA YADRAN was put into the Spanish Yeguada Militar, and produced (x MAQUILLO) BETONICA and 15 other foals. BETONICA was then put back to the Military stallion TABAL, which gave the Military the needed two generations on which to base the breeding merit of a mare line, as the F2 generation is notoriously hard to breed post inclusion of new blood. Working Hunter
Dave and Molly Stanley acquired *GALAXIA's dam, KADOFA, at an auction of the Yeguada Militar, and have said that this one mare could have founded an entire breeding farm. *GALAXIA SSB left her mark in the show ring, being named Canadian National CH Working Hunter and Top 10 Show Hack After taking a break from showing from 1997 to 2003, *GALAXIA SSB proved she was still a Champion at the first Arabian Sport Horse National Show by winning a US National Top 10 in Working Hunter AAO. *GALAXIA SSB also brought home Region III Top 5 awards in Sport Horse under Saddle ATR, Working Hunter, and wins in Hunter Pleasure Open and AT, Hunter Hack and Dressage Open, AO and AT. *GALAXIA SSB was shown during the course of her career by owners Lisa Stapleton, Molly Stanley, Courtney Stapleton-Smith, and trainers Michelle Mahoney and Tom Schuerman. Outside the show ring, *GALAXIA hunted for several seasons with Los Altos Hounds and was awarded her Certificate as a Recognized Field Hunter. *GALAXIA produced four foals, including daughters WASAABI and ANNDROMADA.

Chestnut, foaled Feb. 10, 1969; bred by Yegrada Militar 11 progeny Four daughters of KADOFA (*IBERIA, *GALAXIA, *JEZABEL SSB +// and *EFIGIE), all by different sires, were imported to the USA. All four were Regional Champions, and 3 were US and Canadian National Champions. KADOFA was a daughter of
ZANCUDO, famous for his good producing daughters, and the exceptional OCALINA
(SIRIO IV X FARINA). OCALINA was of the Duque de Veragua’s breeding,
and was famous at the Yeguada Militar for having produced 17 foals in her
lifetime. The female line goes to KADRANKA, imported from Poland
by the YM. It is a female line renowned for many generations as good
producers.
