Mare lease terms: The mare is maintained at the Stanley Ranch on grass pastures with our other horses. The mare will be covered until conception for your foal. The mare will be watched at foaling time, your baby will be delivered, imprinted, and given basic halter and ground work when appropriate. At approximately four months, your foal will be weaned. The foals are welcome to remain another two weeks, or longer if arrangements are made to do so. Any vet costs for the foal will be yours. We have been lucky with these horses and keep them in a healthy place in good condition. The normal vet costs have been the necessary immunizations.
