For the beautiful JEZABEL, life began in Spain in 1987.
Imported to the US in
1989 by Stanley Ranch,
*JEZABEL SSB +// was the
first Arabian to achieve her Legion of Excellence
*JEZABEL's pedigree features many of the great Spanish horses, close up.
At the age of 18, *JEZABEL SSB+// began a new career as a broodmare.
*JEZABEL's three daughters show promise for carrying on the winning show tradition begun by their dam.
BEL SSTARR (by ABDULLAH [Trak]) Half Arabian mare by the two time Gold Medal Olympic Jumper ABDULLAH. ABDULLAH was named by the Chronicle of the Horse as one of the Top Ten horses of the past century. BEL SSTARR was started under saddle by Lisa Stapleton this summer and is looking forward to a jumping career. ANGEL SO FAR (by *S S ORION) is under saddle and schooling for Dressage in Training and First Level. ANGEL has been to one local Dressage show, and placed 2nd and 3rd, right behind her mother *JEZABEL. ANGEL also will school over fences.

The first dressage show for both ANGEL SO FAR (x *S S ORION) and her dam *JEZABEL SSB +//. In spite of JEZABEL's outstanding Nationals winning career as a Jumper (still holds the record of 4' 3" in the Jump off for National Champion Jumper 1999), Working Hunter, Equitation and Hunter Pleasure, this was the first time to show in dressage. It was the first horse show ever for ANGEL SO FAR! There were about 14 horses in each class, *JEZABEL SSB+// ( age 22) and ANGEL SO FAR (age 4) placed First and Second, and Second and Third in their classes. A tribute to the talent and trainability of the Spanish Arabian.
